Free Transmission STRESS TEST

Valley Transmission offers a FREE STRESS TEST & Diagnostic so we can determine exactly what needs to be done to perform the proper repair or rebuilding of you transmission.
During the road test, we will test the performance of your transmission for both stop-and-go city driving and on the highway.
We will check the following items during the road test.

Up and down shift sequences

Gaps between shifting at various speeds

Basic operation for noises or vibrations

Speedometer working properly (effects transmission performance)

We also check for any other non-transmission related items that we discover during the road test such as engine roughness, missing, brake operation.

Electronic Diagnostics

If the road test reveals a problem with your transmission which requires further diagnostics, we have the latest state-of-the-art Electronic Diagnostics equipment to perform the following tests.

Our diagnostics equipment connects directly to your vehicle's computer readout and diagnose the computer codes generated and stored in memory from detected failure codes from your individual driving history.

These computer readouts are diagnosed and a repair procedure is formulated by our highly trained, ATRA Certified technicians that specifically address your particular transmission.

This removes the guess work in performing exactly the type of repair needed to fix your transmission.

Pan Removal and Inspection

If applicable, we may need to remove the transmission pan for further visual inspection

After the road testing, diagnostics or visual inspection, we will give you a written estimate for the repair.

Written Estimate

After we have performed all of the above evaluations of your transmission we will provide you with a written 'Estimate".
