Diagnostics:

To verify the customer's concern we perform both an electronic diagnostics and a hydraulic diagnostics.

Electronic Diagnostics:
This test is a computer controlled test by connecting a scanner to read the diagnostic trouble codes sent by the car's internal computer.

Non-Electronic Diagnostics:
If you car does not have an internal computer we perform a Transmission Stress Test by driving the vehicle and performing certain test to determine what may be causing your problem.

Hydraulic Diagnostics:
This test is conducted using an oil pressure gauge which under different load conditions will show discrepancies in the condition of your transmissions hydraulic system.

Repair Options:

Adjustment:
Many times the diagnostics will indicate only the need for an adjustment.

Minor Repairs:
Some of the repairs may only require the replacement of the electronic solenoids which would normally take only a couple of hours.

Major Repairs:
Unfortunately some transmission require major repair work that would require removal of the transmission, disassembly and parts replacement or rebuilding as necessary.

This obviously is the most costly of the repairs and we will gladly give you some maintenance tips that will help you prevent this type of repair in the future.
